As a contemporary ceramic artist, Nizam Orçun Önal's works revolve around two main themes. The first theme that prominently features in his work is his reflection on personal experiences rooted in a deep connection with the natural world, fueled by environmental observations. On the other hand, he explores other thematic works where he utilizes ceramic material as a canvas to convey his perspective on the negative impacts of global decisions imposed and sustained by human beings on all life forms.
